The Eagle-beaked tortoise is a small tortoise species that inhabits mountain streams and is distributed throughout the countries of the Indo-China Peninsula and the southern part of the mainland. Even though it is distributed in many countries, the natural habitats are almost the same, all of which are high mountains. We can observe the difference between males and females of hawksbill turtles from the following aspects.

1. Male eagle-billed turtles have longer abdominal carapace and flat chest in the center Slightly concave, thick tail, cloaca hole far from the edge of the rear of the plastron, about 2.5 cm from the base of the tail.

2. The center of the thorax of the female hawk-billed turtle is very flat without depression, and the body is very wide. The anus is close to the edge of the abdomen, about 1.5 cm at the base of the tail.
