Three-keel turtles cannot be raised in deep water. Three-keel turtles are closer to land, so they can be raised in the way of box turtles in the breeding environment. The substrate is mixed with sterile soil and reptile sand to maintain humidity, and the water area can occupy 1/3 of the breeding tank. The land area accounts for 2/3. Water areas can also be replaced with basins. Add sunken wood or plants to complete the basic environment layout.

As for the diet, the three-keel turtle is omnivorous, preferring to eat meat. Due to their health and endurance, the general aquatic turtle food can be accepted, and small shrimp, small fish, dried shrimp, mealworms, crickets, earthworms, vegetables and fruits are not excluded.
