1. The center of the plastron of female turtles is flat and without depression; the center of plastron of male turtles is recessed, and the degree of depression of the plastron of older turtles is greater.

2. Male turtles are narrower and longer than female turtles. Perfectly round.

3. The tail of male dynamos is thick and long, while dynamos are fat and short.

4. The cloaca of male dynamos is farther from the anal shield, while female dynamos is the opposite.
