When the tortoise is hibernating, some grass, wood chips and leaves are added to the nest, so that the tortoise can bury itself in it. For the tortoise hibernating outdoors, occasional rain is not a threat to the hibernating tortoise. Hibernating Brucella turtles require a high humidity environment, so it is necessary to check the nest environment frequently. Do not hibernate in a dry box, as this may dehydrate the turtle and cause it to die.

Almost all the tortoises are suitable for living in a temperature of 25~32℃ middle. When the temperature is lower than the suitable temperature, the turtles appear to move slowly, stop eating, etc. Although some turtles can still eat food, due to the low temperature, the food conversion is poor, causing indigestion; when the temperature is higher than the suitable temperature, there will be drowsiness, less food or even stop eating. .
