The swamp side-necked turtle can be raised in deep water, with a water depth of 0.3~0.5m. Patrol the pool twice a day in the morning and evening, check the water level, and add fresh water in time to keep the water fresh. Usually 2/3 of the water is drained every 1-2 months, and then new water is refilled, and the water level is maintained at about 0.5m. If the swamp side-neck turtle stays on the shore for a long time during the day and has a slow response, fish it out in time.

The amount of feeding should be determined according to the season, weather, feed quality, turtle body size, etc., generally 1~5% of the turtle body weight. The food is mainly high-protein compound feed.
