The living habit of the bell-patterned tortoise is still very interesting. When the bell-patterned tortoise is most active, it is often when it starts to rain, but when the weather is very hot, the bell-patterned tortoise will dig holes in the dried-up puddles to hide itself. Lose less water to stay alive before waiting for another rain to come. If the weather is not too hot, the bell tortoise will start looking for food at dawn and dusk.
