The yellow-headed temple turtle has a relatively long lifespan. It can live to around 70 years old under normal conservation conditions, and some can even live to 90 years old. In its maintenance process, the two most important points are food and temperature. The growth temperature is best not lower than 20 ℃, otherwise it will affect its feeding situation.

The yellow-headed temple turtle is mainly vegetarian. In order to make it grow better, mainly feed green fresh vegetables, and then add some fresh fruits to supplement nutrition. In the larval period, it grows faster and can be fed some small fish and shrimp and feed to provide its daily growth needs.
