Brazilian snake-necked turtles need deep water.
Brazilian snake-necked turtle is a common aquatic turtle. It cannot be dry-raised when cultivating the Brazilian snake-necked turtle, and it needs to be raised in water. However, in their different growth stages, their water level requirements are different. If they don't like high water levels when they are young, it is more appropriate to raise them in shallow water, so that the water level is slightly lower than their back shells.

After the Brazilian snake-necked turtle grows up, It can be raised in deep water, but the water level should not be too high. It is okay to be higher than part of the back shell of the Brazilian snake-necked turtle, but it should not exceed 3 times the height of their back shell.
