1. Soak and disinfect the snail-eating turtle in the medicated bath. Generally, povidone-iodine is used for disinfection. The ratio of 5% povidone-iodine solution to water is about 1:500, and the water temperature is about 28 degrees. The time is 10 to 15 minutes.

2. After the medicated bath, dry the surface of the snail-eating turtle , to avoid water evaporation and heat absorption to cause the snail-eating turtle to get cold, and then apply 5% povidone-iodine solution to the affected area and dry it. The ambient temperature also needs to be maintained at about 28 degrees during dry maintenance.
