Raising the Chinese flower turtle needs to provide it with a suitable environment for its growth. It has higher requirements on water quality and water temperature. If you keep it in an environment with poor water quality, it is easy to make it sick. During the feeding period, the water needs to be changed every three days or so. If there are contaminants in the water, they should be cleaned up immediately, and the tank needs to be cleaned. The water temperature should be kept at around 24°C, not lower than 20°C, otherwise it will affect their eating.
In addition to water temperature and water quality, pay attention to feeding Chinese turtles. Adult turtles can be fed three times a week, and hatchlings can be fed once a day. Feeding needs to pay attention to the amount of food fed, and the amount fed at one time cannot exceed 5% of its body weight. Food can choose pork, small fish and shrimp, mealworms, apples, radishes and so on. It is recommended to feed it with a variety of foods, which will allow them to get a more comprehensive nutrition.
