The pig-nosed turtle needs to be raised in deep water, and the pig-nosed turtle has certain requirements on the range and water depth. A tank with a length of 100cm, a width of 40cm and a height of more than 60cm is the best. As for the water depth, you can fill your tank as deep as you can. Because the native hog-nosed turtles are mostly found in the bottom six feet of water, they cannot be raised in shallow water.

The most important thing is water quality. Pig-nosed turtles have relatively high water quality requirements, but not outrageously high. What to use mineral water, pure water is not necessary. It is recommended that you use tap water that has been idle for more than 24 hours, because you cannot guarantee that the pig-nosed turtle will adapt to the new water.
