How to distinguish male and female ringed map turtles, see the following points.

1. Look at the patterns under the tortoise's belly, most of which are female Ring pattern map turtle, the less pattern is the male ring pattern map turtle.

2. Look at the flatness of the shell under the turtle's belly. The flat one is the female-ring patterned turtle, and the concave one is the male-ring patterned tortoise.

3. Look at the length of the turtle's tail. The one with the short tail is the female turtle and the one with the longer tail is the male turtle.
