How to deal with soft-shell turtles:

1. Red neck disease: The throat and neck of soft-shell turtles are swollen and reddened , Muscle edema, unresponsiveness, slow movement, loss of appetite.

Treatment method: Povidone-iodine can be used for smearing, and chloramphenicol, oxytetracycline and other antibiotics can be used for seriously ill soft-shell turtles.

2. Internal parasites: soft-shell turtles are thin and have poor appetite , less food intake. A small amount of worms may be present in the excrement.

Treatment: Mix a small amount of human deworming in the softshell turtle's feed.
