How to identify male and female toads, see the following points.

1. Look at the tail. For male turtles, the tail is slender, the base is thick, and the cloaca is far from the rear end of the plastron. The female turtle has a short tail, a small base, and the cloaca is closer to the rear end of the plastron.

2. Look at the plastron. For adults of the same age, the plastron of the male tortoise has a depression, while the plastron of the female is flat without depression.
