First, look at the Travanco tortoise Body size, male travankos are generally smaller than female travankos. Secondly, to identify male and female Travanko tortoises, you can see whether the plastron of Travanko tortoises is sunken. The plastron of females is flat, whereas the plastron of males is concave. We can also observe the tail of the Travanco tortoise, which is thicker at the base of the male Travanco tortoise.
