Black-necked tortoises do not hibernate in winter, and it is best not to let black-necked tortoises hibernate. The most suitable temperature for artificial breeding of black-necked turtles is around 25-30°C. If the temperature drops below 14°C, the black-necked tortoise will stop eating and drinking, stop growing and go into hibernation. Therefore, if the black-necked turtle is raised in winter, if heating measures can be taken, it can prevent the black-necked turtle from hibernating and promote the growth of the black-necked turtle. There are mainly the following three heating methods.

Does

1. Use hot springs or waste hot water from thermal power plants for heating. Hot spring water, containing sodium, potassium, bicarbonate and a variety of trace elements, is conducive to the growth of black-necked turtles. After mixing the hot spring water, adjust the water temperature to 30 ℃, and then raise the black-necked turtle.

2. Use solar energy for heating. Such as closed solar water heaters, circulating solar water heaters and mobile solar water heaters, etc., and then equipped with heating and cooling air-conditioning equipment, so that the water temperature of the black-necked turtle pond in winter can be maintained at about 30 ℃.

3. Use electricity, oil or gas to heat. Double-layer ironing greenhouse or steam direct heating boiler heating device can be used to keep the water temperature of the black-necked turtle pond at about 30℃.
