Can sea turtles be raised in deep water?

Thorn turtles cannot be raised in deep water. The thorn mountain turtle is a semi-aquatic turtle, so it has special requirements for the environment. This is a turtle with poor water quality. If conditions permit, it is best to arrange it into two parts: water and land. Adult sea turtles should be raised in large reservoirs. It is divided into two parts, land and water. The area with water should occupy at least half, and keep the water depth of 6~10cm. The bottom layer of the land part is 5cm thick gravel layer (6-8mm size), and the surface layer is 15-25cm thick sphagnum moss and long-fiber sphagnum moss for hiding and nesting. Juveniles and hatchlings should be kept in a similar but smaller environment to adults. Use sprinklers once or twice a week to maintain the necessary humidity for these turtles.
