How to raise boot-footed tortoises:
1. Humidity: Boot-footed tortoises like a humid environment, so the humidity in the air needs to be kept above 60%. When conditions permit, the moderation can be controlled between 75% and 85%. If the humidity is not enough, a humidifier can be used to increase the humidity.
2. Light: Boot-footed tortoises are more afraid of light, so pay attention to avoid direct sunlight when feeding.

3. Water quality: boot-footed tortoises discharge a lot of nitrogenous waste , so the water they live in is more likely to be polluted. Therefore, it is necessary to change the water every day to ensure that the water quality is clean and healthy.
4. Feeding: Boot-footed tortoises prefer to eat plant-based food, such as bananas, pumpkins, carrots, papaya, and dandelion leaves. Of course, feeding some more nutritious turtle food is also very good.
5. Water level: The water level needs to be controlled to a certain extent when raising boot-footed tortoises. The water level needs to be controlled at 1/3 the height of the carapace. If the water level is too high, the tortoise may choke on the water. If the water level is too low, the tortoise may die of thirst.
