The golden-headed box turtle is raised in deep water. Golden-headed box turtles are aquatic turtles that can move in deep waters, but the water must be scattered with rocks out of the water for the turtles to rest. The water depth is controlled at 25-30 cm, and shallow water areas and sunbathing platforms are set up in the water area.
