Half-moon betta is an omnivorous and carnivorous fish species, which can be fed with Artemia, silkworms, water eggs, etc. The amount of each feeding can be eaten within 5 minutes, and it can be eaten once a day.

Banyue Betta eats a wide range of bread crumbs, steamed bread crumbs, and meat crumbs , red worms, earthworms (shredded), zooplankton and plants are their favorite bait. Feed 0.3-0.5g per adult fish every day, divided into 2-3 times.

The juvenile half-moon betta should be made into a paste with cooked egg yolk and water,  sprinkle it on the water for feeding. Just add 1 egg yolk per tank every day. Too much will cause the water quality to deteriorate due to excess bait.
