When the blueman arowana is raised to 6 months old, it will become sexually mature. As long as the feeding is good and the water temperature is between 26°C and 28°C, the blueman arowana will begin to breed, and there is no seasonality.

The Arowana reproduces by oviparity. A few floating plants can be placed in the aquarium above 60*40*40cm. The male blue arowana that is sexually mature will spit bubbles to build a nest, and then chase the female blue arowana to lay eggs, and the male blue arowana will fertilize the eggs. Spit into the bubbles for hatching. The female Arowana spawns 500 to 1000 eggs each time. After spawning, the female Arowana is taken out, and the male Arowana is left to take care of the eggs, and wait for 2 days later. After the blue man dragon fish hatched, fish out the male blue man dragon fish. It is relatively easy to reproduce the blue man arowana. In the breeding process of a pair of blue man arowana, most of the work is done by the male blue man arowana.
