1. Rabbit mite disease

Symptoms: Havana rabbits have severe itching, skin inflammation and even hair loss. Because of the unbearable itching, they rub, scratch or bite everywhere, lose their appetite and lose weight.

Treatment: Thoroughly clean the rabbit nest and contaminated utensils, and then spray and disinfect with amitraz. Keep the rabbit nest ventilated, light and dry. Wash the affected part of the havana rabbit with hot water and then apply sulfur ointment, once every 3 days, for 2-3 times in a row, it can be cured.

2. Rabbit Pasteurellosis

Symptoms: The Havana rabbit's body temperature rises above 41°C, shortness of breath, sneezing, runny nose, and sometimes diarrhea, a drop in body temperature before death, body tremors, and twitching of the limbs.

Treatment: After the onset of the disease, 0.5 g of streptomycin plus 400,000 units of penicillin can be injected intramuscularly for each havana rabbit, 2 times a day for 5 consecutive days, and the effect is better.
