It is better for adult neon swallows to eat raw animal bait. Juvenile neon swallows are fed with vinegar worms and microworms at first, and can be fed with newly hatched brine shrimp after two or three days.

Neon Rainbow swallows don't have much food requirements, but they like to eat meat. Generally, they are not afraid of meaty food such as shrimp. We need to feed different foods at different feeding stages to meet the nutritional needs of neon swallows.
