Crimson dragons have a very long lifespan. In the wild, they can live for about 50 years if the living conditions are suitable enough. In captivity, their lifespan is about 20 years. They can live for 40-50 years if they are well cared for. Therefore, if blood red dragons can be provided with a more suitable growth environment, they can live longer.

What

If you want the blood red dragon to live longer, you must control the breeding water temperature. The water temperature should be kept between 24-28 ℃, too high or too low are not good for their growth. When changing the water, pay special attention not to make a big change in the water temperature. Therefore, it is best to dry the new water before each water change, and only replace about one-third of the water each time the water is changed.

Whether the water quality is qualified will also affect the growth state and lifespan of the blood red dragon. When breeding, weakly acidic water with a pH of 6-7 should be used. To keep the water clean at all times, you also need to change the water every seven days or so.
