The ruby fish is a better fish to keep, because it is more sturdy and not particularly picky about the breeding environment. In actual breeding, as long as you control the water temperature and water quality, and feed it some feed at the right time, you can raise them well. But it should be noted that because they are more violent, have a strong territorial awareness, and like to attack other fish, they are generally not mixed.

Ruby fish is a tropical fish, suitable for living in water with a temperature of 20-26℃. If you don't pay attention to keeping the water temperature when breeding, and raise it in water with very low temperature, it may cause it to grow poorly.
Ruby fish prefer neutral, clean water. When breeding, you need to pay attention to maintaining water quality. It is best to change the water for it once a week, so as not to pollute the water quality with the waste metabolized in the water or the residue of the feed. Don't replace all the water every time you change the water, just replace about one-third of the water. This can avoid large changes in water temperature, which can cause discomfort to the fish.
