Red and white grass goldfish can be bred, but usually artificial insemination is carried out in fish farms, and family feeding is relatively small. Here are some breeding points:

1. Red and white grass goldfish are generally found in Spawns every spring. The exact time varies slightly depending on the temperature in different places.

2. When the water temperature is 18-24 ℃, it is often the peak time for spawning. Among them, when the water temperature is about 20 ℃, the sexual desire is relatively strong, and the chasing and playing are frequent.

3. The male fish chases the female fish, and rams the female fish's abdomen or tail fin anus with his head and snout, and sometimes pushes the female fish straight to the pool (tank) wall, and then puts down the artificial fish nest. Half an hour, or 1-2 hours later, the female fish is exhausted and swims slowly, while the male fish sticks to the female fish with a strong body and slams the female fish into the vicinity of the fish nest. At the same time, the female fish excretes transparent pale yellow eggs. Male fish excrete white semen and swim in the water to complete the fertilization process.

4. The water temperature in the hatching tank should be kept at about 20°C, preferably not lower than 16°C, and the maximum should not be higher than about 28°C. 10 ℃, otherwise it will easily cause the death of colored eggs or increase the abnormal fry.
