The main food of chinchilla is grass, aquatic plants, vegetables, carrots, branches, leaves and so on. Not only that, chinchillas have strong reproductive ability, each pair produces 2~4 litters per year , 5 to 9 per litter, and many more than 10. One pair of chinchillas only covers an area of 1 square meter, and one person can raise 100 pairs.
