Xishi rabbits can be bred at about 7 to 8 months, and then become pregnant. The pregnancy cycle of Shih Tzu rabbits is generally 30 to 33 days. Shih Tzu rabbits can give birth to four or five per litter. Rabbits who are pregnant for the first time often give birth to less. The breeding of Shih Tzu rabbits needs to be during the estrus period. When in estrus, the male rabbit will often slap the ground with his hind legs, while the female rabbit will chase the male rabbit, and will raise his tail and swing continuously to lure the male rabbit.

The Xi Shi rabbit can breed all year round, usually about two months. Breed once, so it is good for Xi Shi rabbit to breed 6-8 times a year. It should be noted that in the northern region, the Xishi rabbit is better to breed in spring and autumn, and in the south, it is more suitable for February to May and September to November.

Xishi Rabbit cannot be frightened in any way, it is best not to move the little rabbit. If the mother rabbit smells that the rabbit has the smell of someone else, or is frightened, it will kill the rabbit. Try not to disturb it.
