The body length of the snow rabbit is generally 46-65cm, the tail length is 4.3-8cm, and the weight is 2-6kg. After understanding these, let's take a look at the living habits of snow rabbits!
Except for the estrus period, snow rabbits generally do activities alone. During the daytime, they hide in bushes, depressions and simple caves under fallen trees. They are covered with dead branches and fallen hairs. They come out in the morning, dusk and night to move around, and their nests are not fixed, so there is a saying of three caves of cunning rabbits. It never follows its own footsteps, but always turns around and enters the nest. When approaching the edge of the nest, it first walks in circles, observes and listens carefully, and then slowly retreats into the nest.
