The California Rabbit is also known as the California Rabbit, commonly known as the Eight Point Black Rabbit. It is a medium-sized meat breed and is one of the famous meat rabbit breeds. California rabbits have the characteristics of fast growth, early sexual maturity, strong adaptability, good reproductive performance, high survival rate of young rabbits and stable genetic performance.

The shape of the California rabbit is characterized by thick ears, thick and wide ears, and short ears. Eyes red, coat white, ears, nose, claws and tail are black, light gray black or brown black. The body is medium-length, and the whole body is full of muscles, like a winter melon.
