What are the characteristics of the South China Rabbit?

The ears of the South China rabbit are short and folded forward only to the anterior edge of the orbit. Its tail length is no more than 1/2 of the length of the hind legs, the hair is thick and hard, the body color is darker, the back of the tail is gray-black, and the ventral surface is light gray-brown or khaki.

South China Rabbit is active day and night, but mostly hides in bushes and weeds during the day , is a pure herbivorous animal, can breed except in the coldest months of winter, and can breed 2-4 litters per year, with about 3-5 per brood.
