The jumping rabbit looks like a tiny kangaroo, with a large body, weighing up to 3-4 kilograms, and has a strong jumping ability. They come in many different colors, ranging from reddish-brown to pale gray, with a black end of the tail.

The jumping rabbits like to hide in spacious caves during the day and come out to hunt for food at night. Mainly feeds on plants and roots, prefers barley, wheat and oats, and occasionally eats insects.
