Chinchilla uses staple food, pasture, and complementary food as its daily reasonable diet. The staple food generally contains relatively balanced nutrients, which can provide the daily nutrients needed by chinchillas, and can be fed 1-2 times a day.

Chinchillas love to eat fresh grass, preferably dried alfalfa or timothy grass. Complementary food can feed it some fruits, vegetables, molar sticks, etc. to increase palatability.
