The long-eared mouse, known as the Mickey Mouse in the Desert, is timid and nocturnal, with short forelimbs like ordinary Mickey Mouse, and slender hind limbs about twice as long as the body.

The mule doesn't like sunlight and is mostly active at night, while staying in underground burrows during the day. Due to the severe destruction of the living environment, the survival of the long-eared mouse has been greatly challenged, and the long-eared mouse has been listed as one of the endangered species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
