This requires some training, though, and rewards food to give the hairless guinea pig some motivation. You can also train the hairless guinea pig to hear the name and run to you by leading the hairless guinea pig out of the cage, or placing the hairless guinea pig a few tens of centimeters away from you and calling the hairless guinea pig by its name. The hairless guinea pig should be motivated to run towards you. If the hairless guinea pig does come over, reward the hairless guinea pig with what the hairless guinea pig likes. Practice at least once a day, and after a while, the hairless guinea pig should run to you when you call the hairless guinea pig by its name, whether it is in the cage or outside.
