Cats can die from an overdose of albendazole. Albendazole is generally the main component of deworming drugs in cats. This component has certain toxicity. If it is used in excess, it will cause cats to experience symptoms such as vomiting, convulsions, salivation and other poisoning symptoms. Therefore, the owner should strictly control the dosage of the drug according to the cat's weight and the instructions of the drug before use.

There is no specific antidote for this anthelmintic poisoning. If the cat has overdose on albendazole, it can be taken to the hospital immediately to induce vomiting, and then a large amount of infusion to promote circulation. If two or three hours have passed, the symptoms can only be relieved by infusion, while protecting the liver to see if it can survive.
