How Crested Larks Breed

Crested lark reproduces in the form of oviparity. Its breeding season is from May to July, usually laying 4-5 eggs per clutch. The color of the eggs is light brown or white, with dense brown spots on them.

After the eggs are laid, they will undergo alternate incubation between the sexes. The incubation period is about 12-13 days, and then the chicks break out of their shells.
