What a beautiful bird! At 9 a.m. on April 4, in the woods beside the walking path from Zhuhuyuan Park to Panzhihua Park, photographer Dai Jun saw a standing on a branch in front of him. The big bird, with snow-white wings, immediately picked up the camera and pressed the shutter. While Dai Jun was still very happy to photograph rare birds, he looked down at the camera and saw another black bird. It was drinking water on the ground beside the woods and looked at me while drinking. I quickly recorded it in the camera. Dai Jun said.

At 13:00 noon, Dai Jun sent the rare birds he photographed to reporters through WeChat. What kind of bird is this, it's the first time I've seen it. While amazed, the reporter immediately contacted Su Tao, a staff member in the Resource Unit of the East Forestry Bureau who is in charge of wildlife protection. Yes, this is the pond heron, a second-class national protected animal, and the other is a black thrush. Su Tao asked, Is it filmed in Panzhihua Park? It's very rare. It was the first time I found it in the urban area of Panzhihua. There are traces of pond heron and black thrush. Su Tao, who has more than 20 years of experience in wildlife protection, said: The pond heron is about 47 cm long, with white wings and brown longitudinal stripes. When flying, the body is white and the back is dark brown. Alone or in small groups, and sometimes in large groups of up to dozens of them, they are more daring. Nest in the top of bamboo forest, fir forest and other trees. This shows that Chilu lives near Panzhihua Park and probably has a 'companion'.

The black thrush is a hidden ventriloquist, and it can 'sing' a wonderful song. Su Tao said, The black thrush has a dark brown body, shiny and shiny feathers, and a loquat yellow mouth and legs. It is spring now, and it is very intoxicating to hear the 'singing' of the black thrush in the Panzhihua Park where the flowers are fragrant and the birds are singing.
In recent years, the ecological environment of Panzhihua has continued to improve. On March 31 this year, the 2021 China Urban Environmental Comfort Index Report was released, and Panzhihua ranked eighth among China's top ten cities with a comfortable environment.
