After the incident, Xinyuan issued a total of five public statements, saying that it had notified relevant customers to remove the product and suspend the sale of the product involved, and that the cat food involved had been sampled and sent to a third-party agency for processing Testing, a number of relevant national standards are qualified. The above-mentioned pet owners said that the latest development is that the brand negotiated with them and said that each cat can receive up to 5,000 yuan in compensation, on the condition that they can no longer publicly defend their rights. My family originally had two cats and one dog. I picked up the 3-year-old orange cat Yiqi and the 5-year-old Sanhua cat Sansan. On March 12, my friend and I placed an order for the gluttonous series cat food from Xinyuan Developmentbao, a domestic pet food brand. A bag of 8kg costs more than 300 yuan. My friend's cat and I have eaten this brand before, and the online word-of-mouth evaluation is not bad.

After a week of new cat food for two cats, something started to go wrong. First, Yiqi limped a little while walking, and took him to the hospital for examination. No trauma was found, so he had to go home and continue to observe. Then, Sansan lay on his side in a strange position where he often slept, and I went to hug him. Nor resist.

 The more I looked at it, the more wrong it became. I opened the litter box to check and found that the cat urinated blood, but I didn't know which cat urinated. Combining the situation at that time, I quickly took it to the hospital for examination. The results showed that its liver ALT, blood sugar, blood potassium and other values were very high. The doctor gave us a critical illness notice that night and was hospitalized for treatment.  

Unexpectedly, when I got home, the other cat also urinated blood. The next day, I took Yiqi to the hospital for examination, and found that the abnormal indicators were exactly the same as Sansan. For example, the ALT value of the liver should be 80-130 under normal circumstances, and both of them reached 1000+, which is seriously life-threatening.

April On the evening of the 1st, Sansan had urinary incontinence, unable to pass stool, shortness of breath, etc. At about 8:30, it suddenly made a scream like a stuck throat, and the sound disappeared immediately. After 20 minutes of rescue, it was finally resolved. Not rescued.  

During hospitalization, Yiqi also developed dangerous symptoms such as pulmonary edema and cardiac effusion. After 12 days of treatment, her condition finally stabilized and she went home to recuperate. But it has become much quieter than before, and it still needs to take medicine on time and review it regularly. I don't know if there will be any sequelae in the future.  

According to the doctor's diagnosis, the symptoms of the two cats are a series of complications caused by liver damage.

I didn't believe it at the time. This brand is qualified to produce prescription food, and my friend's cat has eaten it a lot, and there is no such problem. But I checked all the food or medicine in the house that may have been exposed to the cat and caused poisoning, and the result was none. The biggest suspect can only be new cat food.

Our cats have all eaten this cat food in the past month, and most of the production batches are the same or very close, from symptoms to critical illness or even death , the time is very short.  

So far, we have collected information on 325 people, involving 722 cats, of which 264 died due to ineffective rescue, and 264 were critically ill. The cost of treatment in most of our families has generally exceeded 5,000 yuan, and the total medical cost of my two cats is 13,000. More importantly, if we don’t speak up and let more people know, those pet owners who don’t use social media may still be kept in the dark and are still feeding their cats this problematic cat food, leading to more tragedies. .  

Cat food is a necessity for every pet family. As a buyer, we can only evaluate based on business qualifications and word of mouth , friend recommendation, etc. to choose a brand, but if a certain batch of products is unqualified, it is difficult to distinguish, and it will be too late when an accident occurs.  

At home a few days ago, I saw Yiqi sleeping silently next to the urn of his former playmate Sansan , I am really sad and regretful. After this incident, I will never free my pets again, and as soon as I sense something is wrong with them, I will take them to the hospital immediately. I even have a psychological shadow on cat food, and I will learn to make cat food by myself in the future.

Suddenly, a corgi quickly pulled the owner (the owner was holding the P rope) and rushed towards us. The two dogs began to sniff each other, and the rope became tangled within a second or two. At this time, the corgi made a straddle behavior, and my dog (also a male dog) was pressed by the corgi on the upper body, unable to move flexibly, and issued a warning low growl and barked teeth at the same time.  

The owner of Corgi felt flustered, suddenly tightened the P rope and screamed, and the scene suddenly became chaotic. At this time, the dog handler rushed over to separate the two dogs. When I came back to my senses, I saw that my dog's head and neck had been bitten, and my emotions collapsed. The dog trainer hurriedly took the dog for wound treatment, but after the inspection, it was determined that it was only a skin injury.

I believe that in this accident, Petland, myself, and the owner of the other dog all have certain responsibilities.  

The pet park is not divided according to different weights and dog breeds, resulting in mixed play of puppies and big dogs, and the number of dogs far exceeds the 6 agreed at the time of reservation. The dog trainer will also encourage the owner to let go of the leash, relax, and allow the dog to socialize on its own. After the incident, every time I saw the deep tooth marks on the top of the dog's head, I felt both guilty and afraid.  

I am generally satisfied with the handling of the dog handler. After treating the dog's wound, the dog trainer asked me to hold the dog to face the corgi, and did psychological counseling to avoid leaving a psychological shadow. At that time, my dog was shaking all over after being bitten, but he was quickly calmed down and still willing to make friends.  

Afterwards, I will still take my dog for a small social once a week, a big social once a month, go to a pet park, a pet cafe, or go on a nature hike. Pet parks are still very popular in Shenzhen, because they rarely accompany their pets on weekdays, and owners pay more attention to the entertainment time of pets. A small dog like ours is 80 yuan per day, including swimming. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio is OK. I took cats to a chain pet hospital three times to see a doctor, and the prices were far beyond the market price, but I didn't get the corresponding service and effect.

The first time was in July last year. I purchased the hospital's sterilization package at a price of 580 yuan in advance on Meituan, and took my orange cat for sterilization. After arriving at the hospital, the doctor told me that before sterilization, it is prudent to do various tests to prevent some unexpected situations during the operation.  

Then the doctor prescribed a lot of examination items outside the package. I am a novice in raising cats, and I don’t want to mess with cats and go to the hospital again. In order to save trouble, I can only listen to the doctor.  

After the operation, the doctor recommended expensive postoperative anti-inflammatory needles, postoperative painkillers, and nutritional solutions, which cost a total of 3,000 yuan.  

Later, I chatted with my friends and learned that many examinations are not necessary. The prices of the surgery and recommended medicines in this hospital are much higher than the market price. I feel that I have been tricked.  

The second time I took the orange cat to the hospital to see urinalysis, which cost nearly 8,000 yuan. I clearly remember that the hospitalization fee was 700 yuan a day, and the hospitalization was three days, and the disease was not completely cured. Because of the infusion and needle insertion in an unfamiliar place, my cat also had a stress reaction, and his spirit became worse and worse, so I picked him up and went home. Later, I did my homework, bought medicine for him from the online pharmacy, raised it for a period of time, and finally recovered completely.

The cat had a little discomfort, but it didn't seem to be a big problem overall, so I took it to the hospital for further examination. After arriving at the hospital, the doctor first arranged a series of examinations, which cost more than 2,000 yuan. After doing basic investigations for many diseases, I couldn't confirm what the cat had in the end. Later, I brought the cat home, and the cat's uncomfortable symptoms disappeared.  

The reason why I choose to go to the same hospital three times is because although the price is high, it does not have the problems of cross-infection that can occur in some black-hearted pet hospitals. I would rather spend money Buy insurance; on the other hand, there may also be a problem of mutual transfer of customers between hospitals. I went to another brand of pet hospital before, but after the doctor’s appointment expired, the referral referral was still the one I went to. chain hospitals.  

In the past two years, more and more young people have pets, but the pet hospital industry gives me the feeling that the hospital qualifications are uneven, the maturity is not enough, and the professionalism of talents has not kept up .

At the end of November last year, my dog suffered from kidney failure and corneal ulcer as an eye complication. I took it to Zhongx Splendid Hospital first, and then transferred it to Xix Meng Pet Hospital through the referral of the hospital. The doctor said that it was not saved and he had heart disease and couldn't infuse fluids, which resulted in severe anemia and acidosis in the dog later. When I took the dog to another hospital for re-examination, the results showed that there was no problem with the heart, and the indicators of renal failure also improved significantly.  

In the process of negotiating with the director of Zhongx Splendid Hospital, the other party leaked, saying that the doctor who practiced medicine has only 3 and a half years of qualifications. However, the doctor showed on the public comment page that he has 10 years of experience in the industry, which is obviously exaggerated to mislead consumers.  

I sorted out my experience in this pet hospital, posted it on Dianping, and gave a negative review. Soon, the dean contacted me, and after I clearly replied I will not delete bad reviews, he admitted that what I wrote was true, and offered two compensation plans: one is to treat the dog for free next, and the other is if I am willing to re-write a review and consider compensating me for the previous treatment fee of 7,000 yuan. After this hospital, I spent more than 30,000 yuan in other hospitals in order to continue the treatment.  

These two proposals were rejected by me on the spot. Because by then, my dog had passed away.  

Because the dog left suddenly, I was trapped in sadness and longing for a long time and couldn't get out, so I thought of looking for a pet communicator. This profession is relatively popular. It takes more than half a year to make an appointment for a well-known communicator, and a lottery has to be drawn, so it may not be possible to make an appointment.  

It may be because I usually searched for similar content. During that time, I frequently swiped the accounts of some pet communicators on Xiaohongshu, and finally chose one who looked more professional. Communication division, purchased 350 yuan/half hour service. The specific process is to use the form of online communication. The owner sends a photo of the pet and asks questions. After the communicator connects with the pet, the pet's voice is transmitted to the owner.  

From the first question, I felt like I was being fooled. She asked me first, Who was there when the fur kid died? I replied, It's just me and my mom, and she asked, Daddy wasn't there, right? I said yes, and then she said, Puppy. Saying 'It's a pity Dad isn't here'. I asked, Are you okay, is there someone to take care of you? She replied, I can play everywhere. The reason why I didn't expose it on the spot was because I didn't want to break the illusion, but also because I had already paid for the appointment and waited for more than half a month for this opportunity to communicate.  

I don't deny this profession, nor do I deny that someone is a pet communicator, but I have to say that the communicator I met was using my thoughts for furry children to cheat money, The whole process of communication is very perfunctory, and it does not have any consoling effect, but is very hurtful.
