Usually the weight at maturity does not exceed 100 grams, the body length is 97-132 mm, the tail length is 97-106 mm, the back hair is brown-gray, the abdominal hair is gray-white, the ears are obvious, the front edge of the ear shell has gray-white long hair, and the inner tip is few and short. The hair is partially exposed. The tail is covered with dense hair, and the tail hair is longer, forming a hair bundle. The claws are long, and the toes have curved conical strong claws, which are suitable for digging holes. The hind limbs and palms are covered with fine hairs, and the eyes are large and round.
