Bolivian Steel Blue Spider Breed Introduction

Bolivian Steel BlueSpider (Latin name: Pamphobeteus antitinous) native to the tropical rainforests of Peru and Bolivia, it may be the largest species in the genus Pamphobeteus, with adult body Length of up to 20 ~ 22 + cm foot spread. They are named for the same reason as the Brazilian pink bird eater, named for the color of the adult males. The chelicerae and part of the front legs of adult males are shiny blue-purple. The larger the female individual, the more black velvet-like color is displayed. The body is covered with some bright red hair, which is also very good-looking.

Males

Adult males have a shiny bluish-purple chelicerae and part of their front legs.

Females

The bigger they are, the more they show a jet-black color like black velvet, covered with some bright red hair.

Unlike most of its other Pamphobeteus relatives, the Bolivian steel blue juveniles are not outstanding, and they do not have the characteristic "Christmas tree" pattern of Pamphobeteus larvae on their abdomens.
