History :

FCI Standard:

Only breeds with erect ears are recognized in Australia. The lop-eared and pedigree breeds are equally attractive and popular with families.

Body: Short in stature, but not very short in legs, flat in back, or rounded.

Ears: V-shaped, small erect ears with the base of the ear above the head. The ears are moderately spaced.

Nose: The nose is black.

Eyes: Small, round, very dark in color.

Head: Wedge of moderate length with flat cranial. The hair on the top of the head is silver or fawn.

Coat: Slender, lustrous, silky hairs in blue and brown, blue-silver, gray-blue, and blue in the blue series.

Limbs: The limbs are short, the forelegs are straight, the bones are solid, and the hind legs and thighs are muscular.
