Strong, active, intelligent , independent and friendly, but these characteristics are not overly obvious. A medium height variety that can adapt to any weather. The coat can withstand all weather conditions and is very waterproof. Straight, somewhat thorny, and straight like a wire. The dense undercoat insulates it from cold weather, but shedding is not noticeable in summer.
The males are 24-26 inches tall at the shoulder, the females are slightly shorter, but no less than 22 inches.
Type of Coat: Prickly to the touch, wire-like, well laid out, facial frills look like a grandpa (with beard and eyebrows).
Coat color: liver color alone or a combination of liver color and white, also black and white. The registration also includes black, tri-color and other colors.
