History: The Staffordshire Terrier is a cross between a terrier, originally called a Bull Terrier, and sometimes called a Bull Terrier or Bull Terrier. Later, it was named Staffordshire Bull Terrier in England. As early as 1870, the dog appeared in the United States, where they were known by the names of Pitbull, Bull Terrier, later known as American Bull Terrier, and later known as Jacques Hard. In 1936, the dog was registered as a Staffordshire Terrier in the AKC's pedigree book. It was renamed the American Staffordshire Terrier on January 1, 1972.
